Experienced Weekend Housekeeper

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Housekeeper to join our busy hotel team.

The Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow is a family run pub, hotel & events space on the edge of Sheffield and the Peak District. We have 13 hotel bedrooms and pride ourselves on providing our guests with a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of attention to detail.

The Hours

Every Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am - 2:00pm

This is a permanent weekend position, with 10 hours per week. Applicants must be able to commit to both Saturday and Sunday every week.

The role

You will be responsible for maintaining our hotel bedrooms and guest areas to a consistently high standard, including:

• Cleaning and preparing bedrooms for arriving guests
• Changing beds and replenishing towels and guest amenities
• Cleaning bathrooms and communal areas
• Ensuring rooms meet our standards before guests arrive & any guest requests have been met where appropriate
• Reporting maintenance issues or damage
• Working efficiently to meet check-in deadlines
• Supporting the wider housekeeping team when required

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in hotel or hospitality housekeeping
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently or as part of a team and manage your time effectively
• Physically fit enough for a busy housekeeping role
• Someone who takes genuine pride in their work
• Friendly and professional with guests and colleagues

Previous housekeeping experience is essential.

Please note; We are a 365-day-a-year business, which means The Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow is open on Christmas Day and throughout the festive period. Christmas Day is one of our busiest days of the year, so candidates must be available and willing to work on Christmas Day if this falls on one of your regular days of work. We plan our festive rotas in advance and share shifts fairly across the team.
