Experienced Welder (TIG)

Certified Tig Welder / Brazer for Aerospace Industry in Everett, WA

Job Summary: Welding and brazing of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Inconel, and Titanium OEM Aircraft components.

Job Description

• Set up and weld aircraft components
• Set up and braze aircraft components
• Responsible for producing components in tolerance with drawings
• Responsible for producing and understanding weld quality requirements per specification and class requirements
• Work with supervisor and Q.C. to meet customer needs

Qualification / Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred
• 3-5 years minimum aircraft related welding experience
• Knowledge of welding procedures and processes
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, height gages, protractors)
• Experience with set up of tig machine
• The ability to regularly lift 35lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime in order to meet deadlines as needed
• Have own hand tools (ETW has a tool purchase plan)
• Excellent communication skills and can work well with others

Hours & Pay

Hours: M-F; 6:00am - 4:30pm 5/8 or 4/10 schedule TBD at hire. Overtime possible
Pay: TBD based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
