We are looking for an Expert Cloud Automation Developer !

Project Context

The project focuses on evolving an enterprise cloud platform through a new generation of cloud automation, self-service capabilities, and platform engineering products. The goal is to provide application teams with secure, governed, and streamlined access to cloud services, while reducing operational complexity and accelerating delivery.

The role involves designing and implementing services that automate the provisioning, configuration, governance, and lifecycle management of Azure resources. By applying modern platform engineering practices, the team develops reusable cloud services, APIs, portals, automation workflows, and deployment patterns that simplify infrastructure consumption across multiple application teams.

This position combines software development, cloud engineering, and platform engineering, with a strong focus on Azure, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, security, and automation in an international enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable Infrastructure as Code modules, templates, and workflows using Terraform to provision, configure, and manage Azure resources and shared cloud services.
• Develop full-stack self-service applications and supporting REST APIs to simplify cloud consumption and automate recurring operational tasks.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring, alongside frontend applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Design and implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools to validate, package, and deploy infrastructure and application changes across environments.
• Develop automated functional, regression, and deployment tests for applications, APIs, infrastructure modules, and cloud services.
• Integrate security and governance into cloud solutions, including identity and access management, policy enforcement, secrets management, and auditability.
• Integrate Azure services with GitHub, ServiceNow, identity services, and other enterprise platforms.
• Automate operational tasks and cloud workflows using PowerShell or equivalent scripting technologies.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and documentation to ensure production readiness, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the deployment and operation of containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Produce technical designs and implementation guidance that promote reuse, maintainability, and adoption across platform and application teams.
• Identify and implement improvements that reduce manual effort, operational complexity, and delivery times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in an international company environment.
• Senior-level expertise in cloud automation, software development, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure and public-cloud architecture.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including reusable modules and automated provisioning workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices, particularly GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
• Expert proficiency in full-stack software development, including:
• Backend development with Java and Spring.
• REST API design, development, and integration.
• Frontend development with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, governance, access controls, secrets management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience integrating APIs and services across Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, and identity platforms.
• Knowledge of automated testing and quality engineering, including functional, regression, and deployment testing.
• Experience with PowerShell or equivalent scripting languages for operational automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and production operations.
• Understanding of containers and Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Ability to design maintainable, secure, reusable, and production-ready solutions in complex enterprise environments.
