Expert Interim Network & Security Architecture Manager

Context

Interim mission for a leading company in the luxury sector, based in Île-de-France. The role involves managing and architecting network and security domains within a technical team of 4 architects. The position requires full on-site presence and is intended for an expert-level profile with a strong background in enterprise networking and security architecture.

Missions

• Quickly assess the current architecture landscape, ongoing initiatives, and risks, and confirm a pragmatic 3–6 month roadmap aligned with IT and cybersecurity strategy
• Lead, support, and develop the team of network and security architects (4 people): clarify priorities, allocate capacity, and ensure day-to-day management continuity
• Define and drive the architecture strategy for network & security domains, including LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, SSE, and datacenters, with a focus on immediate impact and decision-making
• Provide high-level expertise and escalation support on critical topics, ensuring service stability and risk mitigation
• Coordinate efficiently with other stakeholders (cybersecurity, operations, external vendors, etc.) and prepare an organized handover package for the permanent manager

Interim mission – objectives & expected deliverables

• 0–30 days: onboarding, stakeholder mapping, review of current architecture standards and in-flight programs; identification of key risks and quick wins
• 30–90 days: validated priorities and roadmap; governance cadence in place; decisions unblocked on critical topics (SSE, SD-WAN, datacenter, cloud connectivity)
• Delivery: updated architecture principles/standards where needed; documented target states and transition plans for major initiatives
• Handover: complete handover pack (status, risks, decisions log, roadmap, stakeholder map, vendor landscape) and support of the permanent manager’s ramp-up

Working Conditions

• Location: Île-de-France (IDF)
• Start: ASAP, within one month
• On-site presence: full-time mandatory
• Daily rate (TJM): 750 €
• Status: employee profile only – business development to be validated

1. 10+ years of experience in Enterprise networking, including significant architecture experience and proven experience in team management or technical leadership
2. Proven ability to step into complex organizations quickly (interim/transition, consulting or turnaround contexts) and deliver within short timelines
3. Capability to interact with multiple stakeholders in an international environment; ability to challenge, arbitrate and make decisions
4. Strong prioritization skills and pragmatic approach to balance long-term architecture principles with operational constraints
5. Fluent English (written and spoken)
