As a expo at Volanti you are the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Volanti is a fast-paced environment where you will be communicating with our guests to build lasting relationships and provide an experience they will never forget. Having a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team, and can solve problems in stride.

Responsibilities

Checking each dish against the order ticket to ensure accuracy, including special requests and modifications.

Inspecting plates for presentation, correct garnishes, and adherence to restaurant standards.

Relaying information between the kitchen and waitstaff, such as order status, special requests, and potential shortages.

Organizing and prioritizing food orders, ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate tables or pickup locations.

Add finishing touches or garnishes to dishes before they are served.

Keeping the expo area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Ensuring all kitchen and waitstaff adhere to sanitation standards.

Addressing customer complaints or issues related to food orders and working with the kitchen to find solutions.

Supporting all staff members and working collaboratively to ensure smooth service.

Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude

Always Work together as a team with entire staff

Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff

Requirements

Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience

Attention to cleanliness and safety

Patience and customer-oriented approach

Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude

Responsible and trustworthy
