Job Summary:

At Food & Thought 2, we’re looking for a reliable Expo who can help keep the flow between the kitchen and service smooth and efficient. If you enjoy staying organized, supporting the team, and making sure every plate is perfect before it reaches the guest, we’d love to have you on our team.

Requirements:

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to order and presented correctly before leaving the kitchen.
• Coordinate communication between kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service.
• Organize and prioritize ticket orders to keep food running efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized expo line and work area.
• Assist with garnishing, plating, and final touches as needed.
• Communicate any delays, issues, or special requests promptly.
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure timely service.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish skills are a plus.
• Non-slip shoes are required for safety (not provided).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation is a must.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25–30 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment.
• Ability to move quickly and multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a noisy environment
