Crooners Lounge and Supper Club is hiring for a part-time Expo!

The position: The Expo is responsible for setting the pace and flow in the kitchen. The expo receives the order tickets from the servers or printer in the kitchen and communicates which menu items need to be prepared to the wheel cook. This position is responsible for accurately delivering food to guests, assisting guest requests, clearing silverware and re-setting tables.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC JOB DUTIES

• Receive order tickets from the server in the kitchen
• Communicate accurately with the prep-cook which menu items need to be prepared
• Function as the go-between for cooks and servers
• Ensure all orders are correct
• Load the food on trays for the Food Runners
• Assist servers in properly serving food and beverages
• Set kitchen with all appropriate plate ware needed for service
• Maintain expo station- stocking and re-stocking
• Perform station opening and closing duties

SCHEDULE:

• Part-time hours, 2-4 shifts per week
• Must be available to work at least 2 days between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Shifts are typically 3:30pm-11:00pm or 4:00pm-10:00pm

EDUCATION and/or AGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Ability to demonstrate and practice the principles of proper body mechanics for all physical activities
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of and ability to safely operate position equipment
• Ability to demonstrate upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude
• Possess great guest relations skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
