Responsibilities

• Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing as needed to support kitchen operations.
• Clear and clean tables efficiently by bussing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
• Support the kitchen staff with manual handling tasks, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate food delivery and address any special requests or issues.
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and dining spaces.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems and KDS systems on Toast for processing orders efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.
