Expo/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events as needed.
• Ensure that all food is presented beautifully and meets quality standards before serving.
• Collaborate with servers to coordinate timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Support food preparation tasks when necessary, including assisting cooks with basic food handling duties.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy restaurant setting.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others, including fellow staff members and guests.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
