Duties

• Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring timely delivery
• Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation to meet quality standards
• Clear and clean tables by bussing dishes and resetting for new guests
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal
• Handle heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or large trays of food
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Familiarity with cleaning, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
