Duties

• Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring timely delivery.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and portioning to support kitchen staff.
• Buss tables by clearing dishes, glasses, and utensils efficiently to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations, dining areas, and service stations through regular cleaning and sanitizing.
• Support servers by delivering food orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS when needed.
• Follow safe manual handling practices during heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or equipment to prevent injury.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow and guest needs.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety standards is a plus.
• Experience with food running, serving, or in banquet settings is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness through cleaning duties and bussing tasks.
• In-person customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
