Duties

• Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling techniques.
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure dishes meet quality standards.
• Clear and clean tables promptly by bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in dining spaces.
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks and maintaining food safety standards.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process guest orders when needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely food delivery.
• Ensure safe lifting practices when handling heavy trays or equipment, minimizing risk of injury.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude is essential!
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
