Responsibilities

• Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables swiftly to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays and supplies following safe lifting practices.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food handling, prep work, and organization to streamline operations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using clear, professional language to coordinate orders and service flow.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Assist with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS accurately for order processing when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; familiarity with food running, serving, or hospitality roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions.
• Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy items, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts.
