Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and beautifully presented. Responsibilities

• Deliver hot and cold food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including plating, garnishing, and organizing dishes before they go out.
• Support in clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or boxes of supplies while following safe lifting practices.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff about order status or special requests using POS systems like Aloha or Micros.
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Help with basic cleaning duties in service areas to keep the workspace organized and hygienic.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting techniques.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction during in-person interactions.
• Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: $11.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
