Export Associate

About the role

Join our small team and learn how exports work. You'll help prepare shipping documents, keep in touch with overseas customers, and support our BOI and Freezone work. You'll work closely with our management team, who will guide you and teach you as you go.

Key responsibilities

• Help prepare and check import/export documents (customs, shipping, certificates of origin)
• Handle customer enquiries about BOI and Freezone, and support compliance reporting
• Keep overseas customers updated on their shipments and answer document requests
• Work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government offices (BOI, Customs Dept.)
• Build simple tracking sheets so nothing gets missed
• Share ideas with the management team on how we can do things better

About you

• Fresh graduates are welcome. Experience in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Comfortable writing and speaking English with overseas customers
• No BOI or customs experience needed, but it's a bonus
• Happy to ask for help when you need it
• Interested in learning and growing your career
• Willingness to learn. If you don't know something, you find out.
• Being organised and following up. You keep clear records and check in without being chased.
• Speaking up. If you see a better way, or something looks wrong, tell us.

APA Steel Intertrade is a scrap metal recycling yard in Chonburi and one of the approved scrap suppliers to global steel mills. We're a team of around 20 and growing. This role is new, so you'll learn alongside us and help shape how it works.
