Export Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Place and confirm FCL ocean freight bookings with carriers based on customer requirements, predefined transportation rules, and other shipment instructions.

• Verify booking details against customer requirements and shipment instructions prior to confirmation.

• Coordinate with carriers to secure space, equipment, and sailing schedules that meet customer delivery requirements.

• Manage booking amendments, cancellations, and rollovers in a timely manner and communicate changes to the CS team.

• Monitor carrier cut-off dates and ensure bookings are submitted within required windows.

• Flag capacity constraints, carrier issues, or booking exceptions to the Head of Operations.

• Maintain accurate booking records in internal systems.

• Support the implementation of priority booking protocols for time-sensitive or high-risk shipments.

• Follow SOPs for all booking activities and contribute to SOP improvement where gaps are identified.

Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping with direct exposure to ocean freight bookings.

• Working knowledge of FCL booking processes, carrier systems, and sailing schedules.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.

• Thai language proficiency.

• Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• Direct experience with booking systems or equivalent carrier platforms.

• Familiarity with Incoterms and their impact on booking responsibility.

• Understanding of priority shipment tagging or exception booking protocols.

• English language proficiency.
