Export Import Assistant Manager

Responsibilities :

• Updated on international trade laws, regulations, and documentation requirements to ensure all import and export activities comply with legal standards.
• Manage the end to end export import operation management, prepare and process of import/export documents, such as shipping forms, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders involved in the import/export process. Ensure effective communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Analyze import/export costs, negotiate freight rates, and implement strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining quality standards.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to import/export operations, such as shipment lead times, inventory levels, and compliance metrics. Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualification :

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, supply chain management, or a related field is often required.

• Previous experience in import/export operations from manufacturing company is essential for this role.

• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements is crucial.

• Candidates should be familiar with trade agreements, tariff schedules, Incoterms, and export control regulations.

• Proficiency in negotiation techniques is valuable for securing favorable terms with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other service providers involved in international trade.

• The ability to analyze market trends, interpret trade data, and assess financial implications is important for developing effective import/export strategies and optimizing supply chain operations.

• Good communication skills and fluent in English.
