Export Logistics & Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable individual to coordinate the daily logistics and administrative operations of our international export business.

This position involves coordinating ocean freight shipments, communicating with suppliers, shipping companies, customs brokers, and overseas customers, maintaining accurate records, and following up on shipments and outstanding payments.

The ideal candidate is proactive, an excellent communicator, proficient in Excel, and someone who takes ownership of their work with minimal reminders.

Key Responsibilities:

● Coordinate ocean freight bookings, container pickups, and shipment schedules.

● Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and international customers.

● Prepare and organize shipping and export documentation.

● Track containers, vessel departures, arrivals, and delivery updates.

● Maintain accurate shipment records and Excel tracking reports.

● Monitor customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.

● Coordinate export documentation and required approvals with qualified service providers.

● Resolve day-to-day logistical issues and provide regular updates to management.

● Ensure all pending matters are followed through to completion.

Qualifications:

● Previous logistics, shipping, or administrative coordination experience preferred.

● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

● Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

● Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

● Experience with international shipping or freight forwarding is a plus.

● Willingness to learn industry-specific export procedures.

We are looking for someone who is organized, accountable, and consistently follows through. This position will work directly with management and focus exclusively on our international export operations.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
