Export Manager - (Freight Forwarding) Based in Klang

We are representing a growing leader in the Logistics and Freight Forwarding Industry, specializing in international shipping solutions. Our client is looking for an experienced Export Manager to lead export operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency

About the role : The Export Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's export operations, ensuring efficient and compliant international shipments, and fostering strong customer relationships. This role aims to drive export growth, optimize operations, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement export strategies and objectives aligned with the company's goals
• Lead, motivate, and guide the export team to achieve export targets
• Oversee all aspects of export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping coordination
• Ensure timely and efficient handling of international shipments
• Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to optimize export processes
• Stay updated on international trade regulations, export laws, and customs requirements
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their export needs are met
• Collect, analyze, and report export data, including shipment volumes, compliance rates, and revenue
• Recruit, train, and manage the export team, providing guidance and professional development

About you

• Minimum SPM or higher level education

• 3-5 years of working experience in the related field

• Compulsory to have experience in freight forwarding

• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation

• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu and Chinese ( due to business needs)
