Export Manager (m/w/d) – Freelance

"Žemaitijos Pienas" is one of Lithuania’s leading dairy companies, with more than 100 years of experience in the dairy industry. We produce a wide range of high-quality dairy products and export them to international markets across Europe and beyond.

As our international business continues to grow, we are looking for an Agent/ Freelance Export Manager to develop the German market. This is a dynamic position where the majority of your time will be dedicated to building customer relationships, developing sales and identifying new business opportunities in international markets.

Job Description

• Act as the first and direct point of contact for buyers and customers in the market, building sustainable, sales-oriented business relationships.
• Manage direct relationships with retailers, food retail chains, wholesalers and HoReCa customers.
• Analyse data on sales volumes, assess the impact of product pricing on sales, and provide insights and recommendations.
• Develop and implement sales strategies for the German market.
• Develop pricing strategies and support the expansion of distribution channels.
• Prepare sales reports and analyse performance.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Lead annual negotiations with key customers.

Requirements

• Good written and spoken German and Russian language skills (at least B2 level).
• Higher education (a degree in Business, Economics, Management or Administration is an advantage).
• Proven FMCG and food industry experience is essential, with experience in the dairy sector considered a strong advantage.
• Proven experience in introducing international brands to German retail chains, such as EDEKA, REWE, Aldi and Lidl.
• Responsibility, initiative, openness and independence.
• Good command of standard office software.
• Strong negotiation skills, creativity and effective time management.
