We're Hiring Trade Officer (Exports)

Habib Aziz Farms Limited is one of Pakistan's leading integrated livestock and meat export companies. As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trade Officer (Exports) to join our team.

What We're Really Looking For

Strong command of Excel, you'll be tracking shipments, payments, and documentation, so comfort with formulas, data tracking, and reporting is essential.

Proven ability to coordinate with banks, handling LCs, FIs, and export collections directly with bank officers and overseas buyers.

Precision in documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, and bills of lading need to be accurate, every time.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with local and international banks regarding Letters of Credit (LCs), Financial Instruments (FIs), export collections, and trade finance

Manage payment coordination with banks, overseas buyers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely realization of export proceeds

Prepare, review, and manage all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, bills of lading, and banking documents

Ensure compliance with export regulations, bank requirements, and customer documentation

Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and customers for smooth execution of export shipments

Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely submission of documents to banks and consignees

Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate seamless export operations and resolve trade-related issues

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field

3–5 years of relevant experience in export documentation, trade finance, or international trade operations

Strong Excel skills, comfortable managing trackers, reconciliations, and shipment/payment data

Solid understanding of Letters of Credit (LCs), Financial Instruments (FIs), UCP 600, Incoterms, export documentation, and banking procedures

Excellent communication and coordination skills, particularly in dealing directly with banks

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail in documentation

Experience in the meat export, food processing, agriculture, or FMCG export sector will be preferred
