Export Operations Associate (Fresh graduates welcome)

About the role:

You will play an important role in supporting our multinational export operations by ensuring the smooth, accurate and timely processing of export shipments within the dynamic and fast-paced world of international freight forwarding and shipping.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately maintain and enter critical export shipment data in accordance with established Export Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Create and manage Quick Bookings in the CargoWise system based on booking confirmations to support the shipment initiation process.
• Manage consolidation registrations and prepare accurate Shipper's Instructions to facilitate seamless shipment handling.
• Respond promptly and accurately to operational enquiries while managing and retrieving relevant shipment documentation.
• Perform thorough quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via email.
• Handle sensitive customer and company information with the highest level of confidentiality.
• Utilize written Mandarin proficiency to communicate effectively with business partners and stakeholders.

About you:

• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems, including CargoWise.
• Strong interest in building a career in the freight forwarding and international logistics industry.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Flexible to work weekends and public holidays when required to support operational needs and global time zone coverage.
