Express of Intrest | Multiple Support Workers

Community Support Workers – Complex Support (EOI)Western Sydney | Casual / ongoing hours | Preferably female

We’re recruiting reliable, hands-on Community Support Workers for a customer who needs active, structured support at home and in the community. This is not a “sit-in” role. You need to engage, prompt, follow the plan, and document properly.

The work

• Community access and planned outings
• Meaningful activity and daily routines
• Prompting, redirection and active support
• Full personal care, including showering, dressing, toileting, continence care and grooming
• Meal support and monitoring food/fluid intake
• Follow the Behaviour Support Plan and approved strategies
• Respond calmly to behaviours of concern
• Report changes in presentation or wellbeing
• Progress notes, ABC charts and incident reports when required

Please note: CCTV operates in the home for safety and incident review. Cameras are not in bathrooms or personal-care areas.

• Clear, factual documentation
• Physically able to do the role
• Strong team player (including 2:1 support)

Essential

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check
• First Aid and CPR
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Valid Australian driver licence
• Right to work in Australia
• Experience supporting people with complex disability and behavioural support needs
• Availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends

Desirable

• Cert III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services
• Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans
• Medication assistance competency
• Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi or Nepali, or experience supporting Pakistani / Nepalese families

Pay: $26.44 – $52.71 per hour
