Express Operations Supervisor (Vendor Management)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage transportation vendors to ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards and service requirements.
• Supervise daily activities of the operations and communicate operational plans to the vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance, service levels, KPIs, and contractual compliance.
• Address service escalations including investigating service failure and drive corrective, preventive action plan.
• Conduct vendor reviews, operational meetings, and facility audits to ensure vendors operate according to company standards.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, dashboard, monitor shipment status, and analyze performance data to support decision-making.
• Manage and control transportation costs and budgets while identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
• Coordinate with stakeholders Sales, Finance & Accounting (F&A), Customer Service, Warehouse, and regional teams to support business operations and customer requirements.
• Support the implementation of regional and global operational standards, processes, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure consistent delivery of express transportation services through effective vendor management and performance monitoring.
• On boarding new vendor including outlining business requirements, training on company operations standard process to the vendor management team, oversee vendor access to the company system.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with company-approved vendors.
• Available for business travel to upcountry/provincial areas as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, express transportation, courier operations, or vendor management.
• Experience managing transportation vendors/3PL providers, service performance, and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and express delivery operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and operational reporting.
• Good command of English.
• Service-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
• Experience building administrative automation tools such as Excel Macros (VBA), Microsoft Power Platform to streamline daily operations is highly advantageous.
