Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing a welcoming and energetic service experience
• Assess customer vehicle needs quickly through effective communication and mechanical understanding
• Prepare accurate estimates using estimating software for various services including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs
• Upsell additional services confidently by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs and vehicle maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of services
• Maintain clear client communication throughout the service process, updating customers on progress and additional recommendations
• Handle cash transactions accurately while managing service write-ups and documentation efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, or service writing within a dealership or repair shop environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems such as transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, shocks & struts
• Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
• Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust
• Dealership experience or auto service management background is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driving skills are essential for test drives or vehicle inspections
• Familiarity with auto estimating processes and collision repair procedures is a plus
• Cash handling experience combined with attention to detail in documentation

Pay: $46,600.00 - $56,200.00 per year
