Express Service Technician

Due to recent growth, Kramer Autoplex, Chevy, in Livingston TX., is need of a Express Service Technician. This is a Full Time position that comes with a dynamic career path.

As an Express Service Technician, you will be asked to perform quality services on each vehicle while maintaining a great work ethic. Technicians are hands-on and they perform oil & filter changes and other preventive maintenance services.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interaction skills, competent management and organizational skills required.
• Good computer and software knowledge.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required. Must be able to pass a preemployment drug test
• Have basic mechanical abilities to perform the requirements of the job

What You’ll Do

• Digital MPIs & Video Walkarounds: Conduct detailed computer-based multi-point inspections and record quick customer-facing videos to highlight needed repairs and build customer trust.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform high-quality oil and filter changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and battery tests.
• Safety Inspections: Check essential safety items, tire condition/pressures, brakes, and fluid levels on every vehicle.
• Shop Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work stall while following dealership express lane protocols.

What We’re Looking For

• Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to navigate tablets and modern shop software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn GM systems.
• High school diploma, trade school training, or equivalent entry-level lube tech experience (dealership experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Positive attitude, dependability, and pride in doing the job right the first time.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
