Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Extend Infusion Services Physicians to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be onsite for infusion therapy services, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, specialized environment. Your expertise will support our mission to deliver exceptional oncology and hematology treatment, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. This role is designed to support casual, contractual hours and be flexible to compliment a physician's primary employment. Successful physician candidates will be present at Extend Infusion Services during scheduled patient infusions and help support the interdisciplinary care team in the event of infusion related reactions.

Responsibilities

This work shall be undertaken collaboratively between the Physician and the Clinical Manager, Oncology and Infusion Services, and may include:

• Review, approve, and oversee clinical governance documents, including medical directives, standing orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and clinical protocols;
• Develop and maintain patient safety, reaction management, and emergency response procedures, including anaphylaxis, infusion- and injection-related reactions in collaboration with the Clinical Manager, Oncology and Infusion Services.

Pay: From $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
