Extended Assignment - Acute Care RN

We are seeking an Internal Agency RN Clinical Nurse - Acute Care to provide high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include

• performing the nursing process with evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and individualized care
• partnering with patients and families using relationship-based care methods
• coordinating safe, effective care through interdisciplinary communication and documentation
• participating in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities
• mentoring and supporting professional development of staff and students
• upholding clinical standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements

Qualifications include

• minimum of an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• current RN license and required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• at least 1 year of nursing experience, with 2 years preferred
• national certification in a specialty area is a plus
