Extended Care Program Coordinator (Ages 2–6) – Montessori School

Santa Rosa Montessori School (formerly Brush Creek Montessori) is a nonprofit, AMS-affiliated Montessori preschool that has served Sonoma County families since 1973. We're looking for a warm, organized Coordinator to lead our Extended Care program for about 60 children ages 2 to 6. The program runs before school (8–9 AM) and after school (3–5 PM). The required hours of work are from 2pm-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

We want Extended Care to feel like a natural part of the Montessori day: calm, respectful, and child-centered.

What you'll do:

Supervise Extended Care students and maintain required ratios

Manage sign-in/sign-out and release children only to authorized adults

Partner with Head Teachers and the Director

Communicate warmly with families at drop-off and pickup

Complete incident and illness reports, and follow safety and emergency procedures

What we're looking for:

Pediatric CPR/First Aid

12 ECE units (required)

Experience with children ages 2–6 in a group setting

Leadership or supervisory experience

A patient, reliable, calm presence

Montessori training, and Spanish are a plus

Required before your start date: CA DOJ fingerprint clearance, a TB risk assessment, and mandated reporter acknowledgment.
