About us

We’re an established exterior cleaning business transitioning from Westclean to GutterGuys. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team.

We clean homes, businesses, schools and commercial properties throughout Galway and Mayo. This is an active, hands-on outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and looks after customers’ properties.

What you’ll be doing

• Clearing gutters and checking downpipes for blockages.
• Cleaning soffits, fascias, external gutters and cladding.
• Removing roof moss and applying treatments using approved equipment and safe working methods.
• Pressure washing driveways, patios, paths, yards and other external surfaces.
• Carrying out softwashing and applying cleaning treatments following training.
• Protecting customers’ property, plants and surrounding areas.
• Removing debris and leaving every job clean and tidy.
• Taking clear before-and-after photos, including roof-condition photos where safely accessible.
• Completing job checklists, photographs and notes through our mobile job-management app.
• Reporting damage, defects, access issues or work needing further attention.
• Communicating professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Keeping the company van, tools and equipment clean, organised and secure.

What we’re looking for

• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• A full driving licence valid in Ireland and a responsible approach to driving a company van.
• Ability to work from our Tuam base and travel to jobs across Galway and Mayo.
• Good attention to detail and pride in completing work properly.
• Ability to carry out physical outdoor work and handle equipment, with reasonable adjustments where needed.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently once trained.
• Confidence using a smartphone for job details, photos and checklists.
• Good communication and a polite, professional approach to customers.

Experience in exterior cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, landscaping, roofing or similar practical work is an advantage. Applicants with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are also welcome.

Safety and quality

You must follow training, use appropriate PPE and handle equipment and cleaning products correctly. Ladder use and any work at height must follow our safe working procedures.

You will only carry out tasks you are trained and authorised to perform. We expect you to check your work before leaving each property and report anything unsafe or requiring further attention.

What we offer

• €15 per hour, with 40 hours per week.
• Company van provided for work duties.
• Equipment and appropriate PPE provided.
• Training in our cleaning methods, equipment and job procedures.
• Varied work across residential and commercial properties.
• A supportive team and opportunities to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
