We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Exterior Operations Manager to lead our Exterior Landscaping Team and grow our portfolio.

The role is ideal for someone with previous experience in exterior landscaping, supervisory experience and who can demonstrate strong customer service skills and sales performance.

As a key leader, you will drive operational excellence, manage resources effectively, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality across all exterior landscaping and snow clearing and gritting contracts. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining safe, sustainable outdoor spaces that inspire and to growing our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule runs
• Ensure quality of service
• Budget management
• Day to day management of the exterior landscaping teams, including all HR responsibilities - absence reviews, probation, recruitment, appraisals etc
• Manage the operational delivery of gritting and snow clearing service
• Vehicle checks
• Health and safety audits
• Labour planning
• Delivering training
• Ensuring compliance
• Drive sustainability in the operation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues
• Handle sales enquiries and develop the exterior portfolio
• Deal with customer queries
• Undertake other reasonable duties and assignments as required

Skills and experience

Essential

• Exterior landscaping experience
• Full clean driving licence
• People management experience
• Proven sales ability
• Proven customer service skills

Desirable

• Scheduling or route planning experience
• Gritting and snow clearing experience

Pay: £45,000.00 per year
