External Relation & Comdev Supervisor

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive external relations strategies that enhance the company's reputation and stakeholder engagement
• Manage day-to-day communication with local communities, government officials, and other external stakeholders
• Supervise and coordinate community development projects that align with company objectives and community needs
• Prepare and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other corporate communications to media outlets and relevant stakeholders
• Monitor media coverage and public perception of PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya, identifying potential issues and recommending mitigation strategies
• Conduct community surveys and stakeholder consultations to assess perceptions and gather feedback
• Coordinate corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and ensure compliance with community engagement policies
• Maintain detailed records of external relations activities, stakeholder meetings, and community development programme outcomes
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure consistency in external messaging and programme delivery
• Support senior management in crisis communication and issue management when required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in external relations, corporate communications, or community development roles
• Proven experience working in or with mining, extractive industries, or similar resource-based sectors
• Strong understanding of community engagement and stakeholder management best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines
• Experience in media relations and press release preparation
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of Indonesian regulations and policies relating to community engagement and corporate affairs
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with communications management systems
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues across departments
• Flexibility to travel to community sites and attend evening or weekend stakeholder events when necessary
• A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
