External Sales Representative JHB

This is a new position,

so, we are looking for someone with strong sales ability, initiative and, most importantly, the drive to find and develop new customers.

MACTOOL will provide leads and support, but the successful candidate will be responsible for building their own customer base. The bulk of their success will depend on their ability to prospect, get in front of customers, develop relationships and create new business.

Initial Counter Sales Training,

Although this is an external sales position, the successful candidate will initially spend approximately 2–3 months working on our Johannesburg sales counter.

This is an important part of how we train our external sales representatives. It gives them the opportunity to:

• Learn our extensive product range
• Understand our customers and their applications
• Gain practical product and sales experience
• Learn our systems and processes
• Understand the MACTOOL Johannesburg culture and the way we look after our customers

We have used this training approach successfully with our existing sales team and have found that it gives new representatives a much stronger foundation before moving into a fully external role.

Once the initial training period is complete, the representative will move into their allocated territory with a clear focus on new business development, customer visits and growing the MACTOOL customer base.

Pay: R5 312,88 - R28 562,99 per month
