External Service Advisor

Description:

Summary:

Acting as a liaison by representing the service department to its external service customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Greet customers and assess their service needs.
• Create and manage work orders.
• Sell Scheduled maintenance, Labor, & Parts.
• Complete Service Advisor Checklist daily
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service.
• Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approvals.
• Communicate service progress and updates to customers.
• Process payments and complete necessary documentation.
• Follow up with customers’ post-service to ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Achieve $55,000 Gross Profit per month
• Reach Menu penetration goal of 40%
• Be proactive not reactive.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Valid Driver’s License, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report with an insurable driving record
• Ability to drive, move and park recreational vehicles of all sizes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience at an RV or automotive dealership environment a plus
• Desire to further education with RVDA provided by Byerly RV

Schedule:

Days – Every other Saturday

This position operates outside and in an office environment. The noise level is moderate at times.
