Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of a polymer extrusion line used to create tubing for production and R&D

Essential Responsibilities: - Responsible for all aspects of the polymer extrusion line, including but not limited to; set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow. - Work with production personnel and R&D to ensure extruded tubing meets requirements and make adjustments as required. - Provide extrusions in a timely manner in order to ensure production and R&D schedules are met. - Work with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures that result in producing high quality product. - Manage raw extrusion materials in a way that ensures traceability and prevents contamination. - Generate documentation on extrusion runs that is used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.

Qualifications & Skills: - High School diploma - Minimum 3 years’ experience in hands on extrusion of medical grade tubing - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment - Must possess good organizational skills - Must be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing extrusion projects - Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
