Extrusion Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Prepare the conform extrusion machine by installing correct dies, wheels, and tooling according to production specifications.
• Material Loading: Feed raw metal rods or wires smoothly into the drive system without tangling or damage.
• Operation & Monitoring: Start the machine, adjust rotational speed, and monitor temperature, friction, and pressure parameters during the extrusion run.
• Quality Control: Measure extruded profiles using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy. Check for surface defects or cracks.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical or thermal issues promptly during production to minimize downtime and scrap material.
• Routine Maintenance: Clean dies, lubricate moving components, and perform basic upkeep on the conform machine.
• Record Keeping: Log production output, operational metrics, and equipment maintenance logs accurately.
• Safety Compliance: Follow strict plant safety rules, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and keep the work area clean.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
