We are currently seeking an experienced Extrusion Machine Tool Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating extrusion machines and a passion for producing quality products. As an Extrusion Machine Tool Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that our machines run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion machines according to company standards and production specifications
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure product quality
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to prevent downtime and minimize defects
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Record production data and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
• Continuously strive to improve production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating extrusion machines in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime when needed
