Extrusion Operator

Our client is growing rapidly and looking to hire experienced Rubber Extrusion Operators to join their team. In this role, you’ll set up and operate extrusion equipment, monitor production, inspect finished products, and help keep the line running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rubber extrusion machinery
• Load raw materials and adjust machine settings
• Monitor temperature, speed, pressure, and product dimensions
• Inspect finished products for defects and quality compliance
• Read work orders, specifications, and measuring instruments
• Record production, quality, and material information
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance
• Troubleshoot minor machine and process issues
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet production targets

Qualifications

• Previous extrusion, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Rubber or plastics processing experience is a plus
• Ability to use basic measuring tools, such as calipers and tape measures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Reliable attendance and a safety first attitude
