Extrusion Operator

OMERIN USA, Inc. is looking for a First-Shift Extrusion Operator to join our close-knit production team in Meriden. In this hands-on role, you will set up and operate extrusion equipment, monitor product quality, troubleshoot production issues, and help ensure our products meet exact customer specifications.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery according to production requirements.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product dimensions, consistency, and quality.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine production or equipment issues.
• Assemble and disassemble machine components during setup and maintenance.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Perform basic preventive-maintenance tasks and report mechanical concerns.
• Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous extrusion, machine-operation, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how equipment works..
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependability, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience with programmable logic controllers or similar machine-control systems is a plus. Forklift certification is also a plus; training may be provided to the selected candidate.
