Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in operating extrusion presses, cranes, saws, stretchers, and packaging stations under supervision.

· Help with setup, material handling, and cleanup tasks across workstations.

· Perform basic quality checks and accurately record inspection results.

· Follow all safety guidelines, use PPE, and report hazards or unsafe behavior immediately.

· Maintain a clean and organized workstation in alignment with 6S standards.

· Support experienced operators during production and changeovers.

· Participate in training rotations to build operational knowledge and skills.

· Attend team meetings, shift handovers, and safety briefings.

Skills and Abilities Needed:

· Willingness to learn new processes and equipment in a manufacturing setting.

· Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and safety procedures.

· Basic math and measurement skills for quality inspections.

· Strong attention to detail and a focus on product quality.

· Comfortable working in a team and taking direction from senior operators or supervisors.

· Physically able to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during long shifts.

· Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Forklift and crane experience considered an asset.

· Previous manufacturing, production, tooling, die shop, machine shop, or industrial experience preferred.

Schedule:

· Continental 12-hour shift schedule

Location:

Conveniently in Pickering just south of the 401 at Brock Rd.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
