Executive Assistant & Marketing Coordinator (Aventura, FL)

The job
Markati Group is a small digital marketing agency in Aventura. We work with e-commerce brands on positioning, websites, SEO, email, paid search, and content. I run the agency, and I need someone sitting next to me who keeps me organized, takes work off my plate, and grows into more.

This role is part executive assistant, part marketing coordinator. You'll keep the business running (my calendar, inbox, client follow-ups, and deadlines) and you'll work on real client marketing from your first week. You will not be stuck on one narrow task, and you will have real ownership.

You get a desk in a real office in Aventura, not a hybrid setup where you sit alone on a laptop.

What you'll actually do

Keeping things running

• Manage my calendar and schedule client calls and meetings
• Go through my inbox, flag what needs me, and handle what doesn't
• Take notes on client calls and send follow-ups with clear next steps
• Keep project timelines and client deliverables organized and on schedule
• Format and proof proposals, documents, and client decks in Word

Marketing work

• Write and edit copy: product pages, blog posts, email campaigns, social captions
• Build and schedule social content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
• Pull marketing data into Excel and build clean, readable reports for clients
• Load content into Shopify and WordPress
• Research competitors, keywords, and market trends
• Whatever else the week needs, because this is a small shop

What we need from you

• 2+ years as an executive assistant, marketing coordinator, or similar role
• You're organized. You track the details so I don't have to, and things don't fall through the cracks.
• You write clearly. Not fancy, clearly. Short sentences, no fluff, correct grammar.
• You're strong in Excel: sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP.
• You know Word well enough to format a professional document without fighting it.
• You use social media natively and understand what performs on each platform.
• You follow directions and finish things. When you say a task is done, it is done.
• You know when to make a call yourself and when to ask.
• You can be trusted with client information and keep it confidential.
• You can be in the Aventura office five days a week.

Nice to have, not required

• Experience with Shopify, WordPress, Canva, Google Analytics, or an email platform like Klaviyo or Mailchimp
• Experience at an agency or supporting a founder directly
• Spanish

Details

• $20 to $22 per hour depending on experience, reviewed at 90 days
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• In person, Aventura, FL
• Paid time off after 90 days
