Eyewear Designer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and high-caliber International Designer based in Hong Kong to join our creative team. This role will lead design innovations for international market accounts in eyewear accessories, custom packaging (luxury gift boxes, cosmetic cases, optical packaging), and related fashion accessories. The ideal candidate will bridge creative aesthetics with mass-manufacturing feasibility, working directly with global client brands and our manufacturing hubs in China and Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer briefs and brand strategies of international clients (Europe, North America, Southeast Asia) into innovative product and packaging concepts
• Lead the end-to-end design process from research, sketching, 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering, to 2D technical specifications
• Collaborate with the international sales team to present design concepts and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) proposals directly to overseas clients and brand executives in professional English
• Develop creative visual concepts and functional packaging structures for eyewear cases, premium gift boxes, paper cosmetic packaging, and fashion accessory displays
• Research and apply sustainable/eco-friendly materials and advanced printing/finishing techniques (embossing, foil stamping, specialized paper, UV coating) to enhance product value
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, prototyping, sampling, and manufacturing facilities in Mainland China and Thailand) to ensure design concepts are cost-effective and viable for mass production
• Analyze global trend forecasts across fashion, eyewear, jewelry, and luxury packaging to create seasonal trend books and new product concept collections
• Assist in visual merchandising, booth layout design, and product showcase preparations for major international trade fairs (e.g., MIDO, SILMO, HK Optical Fair, HK International Printing & Packaging Fair)

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Industrial Design, Product Design, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or related fields
• 3–5+ years of professional design experience in eyewear products, eyewear cases & accessories OR high-end paper packaging, luxury gift boxes, cosmetic packaging
• Strong, professional portfolio demonstrating excellent 3D modeling capabilities, refined CMF application, and creative packaging structures
• Proficient in 3D modeling and rendering software (Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Cinema 4D, etc.)
• Proficient in 2D graphic and vector design tools (Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Solid understanding of packaging engineering, paper materials, molding processes, surface finishes, and cost-efficient production constraints
• Professional English communication skills
