POSITION: EYFS TEACHING ASSISTANT (2 roles available)

CONTRACT: 2 terms (Jan 2027 to end of July 2027)

WORK PATTERN: Full Time: 8.45am to 3.15pm – Monday to Friday

Part Time: 12 to 3.15pm – Monday to Friday

PAY GRADE / SCALE: Grade 3 / SCP6

SALARY: £25,989 (FTE)

About the Role

This is a fixed term contract (term time only) to provide support for children in the EYFS (nursery and reception). This is a fixed term contract which will terminate July 2027 but possibility for extension into the following term.

About You

Your role will be to support the learning and wellbeing of all children including those with SEND. As part of the role you would also support during lunchtimes. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive early years practitioner who can work within a classroom alongside a teacher, 1:1 and with small groups. Experience within Early Years is essential and experience of working with ASD children is advantageous but not essential.

— good behaviour management

— experience of working with children in early years

— experience of children with special needs such as ASD / learning difficulties

— ability to work in a team

— ability to work 1:1 and in small groups
