Project Location: Woensdrecht, Netherlands

Assignment Duration: 5–7 months

Travel Requirement: Valid U.S. passport required; international travel and on-site work in the Netherlands are essential.

What You’ll Work On

• Provide technical expertise across turbine MRO processes, including machining, grinding, heat treatment, welding, NDT, shot peening, coatings, plating, and chemical cleaning.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment challenges, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve repair quality and reduce downtime.
• Maintain repair process standards aligned with OEM technical data, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory and industry standards.
• Partner with Repair Engineering to evaluate repair methods, conduct process trials, and validate technical solutions.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, preventive maintenance, and operator training.
• Develop and improve work instructions, standard operating procedures, setup sheets, engineering reports, and process documentation.
• Analyze process performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, consistency, cost, and turnaround time.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Facilities teams to resolve production challenges and share best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in turbine engine MRO, aerospace repair, or precision manufacturing.
• F135 turbine engine knowledge preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and precision measurement requirements.
• Experience developing technical procedures, engineering reports, and process documentation.
• Familiarity with process equipment, CNC systems, PLC-controlled equipment, NDT, calibration, or laboratory testing is beneficial.

Assignment Requirements

• Currently based in the United States.
• Valid U.S. passport and willingness to travel to the Netherlands for the full 5–7-month assignment.
• Eligibility under applicable U.S. person and ITAR requirements.
• Ability to complete required project security and facility-access screening.
