About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Fabric Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud data engineering, data modeling, and analytics, with a focus on implementing scalable and efficient data platforms. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, supporting data modernization initiatives, and ensuring data governance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement end-to-end data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies.
• Build scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics solutions.
• Participate in data modernization and migration projects from legacy systems to Azure Fabric.
• Design data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality and security.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support data governance, data security, and compliance initiatives.
• Assist in reviewing code and architecture designs to ensure best practices.
• Work closely with project teams to deliver solutions within timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.

Proficiency in:

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Power BI
• SQL and Data Modeling
• ETL/ELT Design and Development
• Understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data ecosystems.
• Experience in performance tuning, data quality, and data governance.
• Good stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks, Spark, and Python.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Azure and Microsoft Fabric certifications are a plus.
• Experience working with global teams and clients.
