About the role

We are looking for a fabric mender to join our team at the Magee Weaving Mill in Donegal Town. The primary objective of the role is the mending, darning and inspection of woven fabrics before they leave the mill.

Key responsibilities

• Mending and darning woven fabrics
• Inspecting fabric for faults
• Working to production and despatch deadlines

Key requirements

• Sewing or needlework skills, ideally gained in a similar manufacturing environment
• Excellent eyesight, with a good eye for colour and pattern
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work to deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Training will be provided, though experience is desirable
• Other mill activities may be incorporated into the role

Hours and benefits

Full-time, 39 hours per week.
