Fabrication Laboratory Operator

• Operate and maintain our 3D printers and laser cutters, keeping student and faculty projects moving
• Cut and engrave boards, wood, and acrylic (3mm–5mm) with precision
• Check CAD/STL files before each job to catch issues early
• Keep the lab's materials organized and equipment running smoothly
• Troubleshoot problems and handle routine maintenance
• Guide students on material choices, machine settings, and what's possible
• Support faculty-led workshops and lab demos
• Keep the lab safe by enforcing OSH standards

Qualifications

• Vocational or Undergraduate College degree.
• TESDA Digital Fabrication Machine Operation Level II or III certificate
• Familiarity with slicing software and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, or Adobe Illustrator)
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues or file errors during the fabrication process.
