What you’ll take on (2nd shift)

• Provide daily direction, training, and cross‑training to fabrication operators; plan, assign, and coordinate work to the schedule.
• Review work orders, operation sheets, part numbers, and drawings to ensure correct setup and execution.
• Conduct periodic in‑process checks for visual and dimensional conformity.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area; report and follow up on any machine issues or malfunctions.
• Partner with the supervisor to drive teamwork, product accuracy, and adherence to company procedures.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, performance appraisal, recognition, coaching/discipline, complaint handling, and problem resolution.

Experience and skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years in a fabrication environment.
• Preferably, a college degree and prior leadership/supervisory experience.
• Comfort with GD&T, blueprint reading, and leading frontline teams.
