Fabrication Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Fabrication Supervisor who will oversee daily fabrication operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality standards, and promote a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication activities, including welding, assembly, and related metal fabrication works.
• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of fabrication personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Ensure all fabricated components and projects comply with approved plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
• Monitor the proper use of fabrication tools, equipment, and materials.
• Implement and strictly monitor workplace safety procedures and ensure compliance with company safety policies.
• Inspect completed fabrication works and coordinate necessary corrections or improvements.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of daily production activities, work progress, materials used, and other relevant reports.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding fabrication requirements, technical concerns, schedules, and project priorities.
• Troubleshoot fabrication-related issues and provide appropriate solutions to minimize delays and production downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication area.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant technical education and substantial fabrication experience may also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding techniques, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Good leadership and team-management skills.
• Ability to assign tasks, monitor productivity, and meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to enforce workplace safety standards and procedures.
