Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Job Supervisor to manage day-to-day production activities in our Sheet Metal & Fabrication manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication and sheet metal production activities.
• Allocate jobs and manpower according to production requirements.
• Coordinate with operators, welders, fabricators and helpers.
• Handle and monitor CNC Punching, Laser Cutting and Bending Machine activities.
• Ensure jobs are completed as per drawings, dimensions and production schedules.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings and job specifications.
• Monitor material movement and ensure proper utilization of raw materials.
• Coordinate with the Production, Quality and Design departments.
• Check job quality, dimensions and workmanship during production.
• Identify production issues and take corrective action.
• Ensure machines and manpower are properly utilized to achieve daily targets.
• Maintain discipline, housekeeping and 5S on the shop floor.
• Follow all company safety rules and ensure safe working practices.
• Prepare and maintain basic production/job status reports.
• Ensure timely completion and dispatch of finished jobs.
• Handle production-related problems and coordinate with the Production Manager/Plant Head.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal & Fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of CNC Punching, Bending and Laser Cutting.
• Basic knowledge of Welding, Grinding and Assembly.
• Ability to read engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Good manpower handling and team coordination skills.
• Knowledge of production planning and job follow-up.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge will be an advantage.

Education

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Fabrication preferred.

Salary

Salary: As per experience and skill level.
